It never rains in Southern California, or does it...

Lets talk about the weather...

Since we here, in Lovely Sunny Southern California are experiencing a much wetter season than normal. We have decided to do a little post on rainy day weddings. I am sure it has crossed your mind once or twice. Especially those of you who are getting married in the next few months...

What do we do in case it rains?

You don’t have to let bad weather put a damper on your big day. Actually rain is suppose to be a blessing for the bride and groom. Instead of worrying about something that is completely out of your control, find out how to use the rain to make your day incredible!  Get together with your coordinator and create a back up plan in advance! A good Coordinator will have already been in contact with your venue to find out what their plan of action is for rainy days. Don't wait until the night before. We tell our couples to start watching the extended weather about 2 weeks out from your wedding date. If the weather is changing then put your backup plan into action.

Come rain or Shine. When it is all said and done at the end of the day you are married to the love of your life!  Rain might not be what you were hoping for, but if planned ahead properly, it will be a day that you and your guest will be talking about for years to come. Your wedding could end up being better than you could have possibly imagined...
